Georg Jensen Sterling and Hematite Tie bar number 17 Denmark

Georg Jensen Sterling Silver and Hematite tie clip/tie bar in pattern number 17.We understand that this pattern was created by Georg Jensen himself before 1920. This tie clip was made in the 1950’s and are now retired. The clip measures 2 1/4 inches (55mm) long and a bit over a 1/2 inch(15mm) wide. It weighs 14 grams. The clip is in excellent condition and has light toning that makes the pattern really stand out. The piece is fully hallmarked by the Jensen Silversmithy as follows:

1. Georg Jensen in a dotted oval (mark used after 1945)

2. Denmark

3. 925s (Sterling Silver)

4. Design number 77
