Each bow tie is hand painted silk and unique – a true piece of Artwear. It is a sophisticated accessory for casual or business outfits, as well as a perfect one-of-a-kind gift.
Here I painted my abstract design ‚Batik’ in blue – multicolured and the bow tie was manufactured withpeaked sides.
This bow tie is made of 100% crepe satin silk – a prime silk quality that doesn’t krinkle and is shiny on one side and matte on the reverse side. It is manufactured with matte outside.
Lines: black/golden gutta, colours: finest german acid-based silk dyes.
All my silk bow ties are manufactured in a special studio in Zwickau/Saxony.
Size: Bow when tied is 5 inches (12 cms) wide.
Height of bow at tallest point 2.50 inches (6 cms).
The silk bow tie is already tied.
There is a Velcro fastener, so it is adjustable to your own neck size.
The colours get fixed through a professional steaming process, so they will not wash out in contact with water. Dry cleaning is recommended though, because washing could damage the inlay and put it out of form.
