A 13″ wide sailor brim hat with a distinctive 5.5″ crown, narrower at the top. The hand formed buckram brim and crown is covered with a pleated silk shantung in a gorgeous pale butter yellow. The brim is lined in a slate grey silk taffeta with tiny butter yellow polka dots. The wired brim edge is covered in a bias strip of the yellow shantung. The base of the crown is adorned with a gold and silver twisted cording. A hat for any season and festive occasion!
An adjustable elastic loop securely holds the hat in place behind the wearer’s head. This hat brim measures 12.5″ from front to back and is 13″ wide.
