This beautiful medieval cloak is made like the one in Three Wishes for Cinderella, one of the most beautiful versions of all Cinderella movies (if you do not know it, go, check it out!). In Germany, watching this movie around Christmas time is a must for most women :)
Cinderella wears a cape like this on the ride through the snow to meet her prince at the ball. Doesn’t that sound romantic?
The bridal cape will be the perfect addition to your romantic wedding. You will look like a fairytale princess.
The cape is wide and long and will easily fit over your wedding dress. The special thing about it is the hood and neck part. The hood has a quite long tip with a square end. It is gathered into a narrow neck piece. This closes with three buttons covered with the cape’s fabric.
The hood is big enough for a great updo. With the narrow neck, you will look really elegant and like a fairytale princess.
FABRIC
For the cape, you can choose the fabric from the drop-down menu. The cape on the pics 1-4 is made from rayon. The rayon fabric you get is a bit lighter and even closer to the original movie cape.
polyfabric (100% Polyester): a light fabric with a soft grip. No shine. It looks and feels really good, not at all like plastic. Many colors are possible and it is easily washable.
cotton (100% Cotton): a light, sturdy, easy to care fabric with no shine to it (Pics 6+7).
chiffon (100% polyester): a sheer fabric, drapes soft, and does not shine. If you want your cape but it will be a summer wedding, pick this one.
rayon (100% rayon): a light fabric with a subtle shine. This flows perfectly in the wind and is very close to the original movie version.
wool (100% wool): if you want a really warm and quite rainproof cloak. This is great for a winter wedding.
These are the fabrics I find to work best for this cape. If you want a quote on any other fabric, just message me!
LINING FABRIC:
You can add a lining for this cape. Please choose your lining fabric from the second drop-down menu:
satin (100% Polyester): light fabric with a lot of shine
silk (100% silk): a ponge silk used for lining, light silk with a subtle shine.
A little help für choosing your lining:
The cape has a lot of fabric in itself so adding a lining adds some weight, too. Satin and silk a very light and do not add much to the weight. They go well with all outer fabrics. They are very smooth and will not stick to whatever you wear underneath.
COLOR
Please state your color choice in the personalization field or just write to me. If you need a color matching your dress or your wedding colors, we will work out how to compare fabrics.
Wool colors may be a bit more limited.
