Georg Jensen Sterling and Lapis cufflinks number 44D Denmark

We offer a lovely pair of Mid Century Modern Georg Jensen Sterling Silver and Lapis cufflinks. These are pattern number 44D and were designed by Harald Nielsen in the 1940’s.The Silver and Lapis is in perfect condition, there are no cracks, scratches or any other flaws. The Lapis has tiny flecks of gold Pyrite that sparkle in the light. The face of the cufflinks is approx 9/16 inch (14mm) in diameter and they weigh approx. 16 grams. These number 44D are a little smaller than most others in this design and lend themselves to ladies French cuffs as well. Theyare fully hallmarked by the Jensen Silversmithy as follows:

1. Georg Jensen in a dotted oval (mark used after 1945 )

2. .925 (Sterling Silver)

3. Denmark

4. Design number 44D
