Vintage Frenchwaistcoat/vest. Early 20th Century. Bespoke item, originally made for a man. Three silk covered buttons. Matt Black wool fabric. Three external pockets. Cotton satin-striped interior. Would fit a modern S up to 36-37″ chest
Some wear to the fabric and discoloration to the interior as shown. The external fabric has some patches of “shine” from wear/ironing. Metal clasp is oxidized.This is a vintage item so imperfections and marks should be expected. Item has been steamed and lightly pressed but not chemically drycleaned.
Note the length is quite short by modern standards as these are meant to be worn with high waisted trousers.
No marked size. These are the actual measurements laid flat and buttoned up with adjustment strap loosened:
Armpit to armpit: 18.5″ 47cm
Across waist: 18.2″ 46
Length down front: 23″ 59cm

-If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time!
Returns and refunds

-Refunds are only for the item price and not for shipping costs and will be issued when I get the item back.
