Dress up your style with this handmade brass tiara crown. It has been rough soldered and sanded to give it an ancient feel and a shine when the light hits it.
This can be made in copper, brass and nickel silver.
It is approx 2 inches tall and circumference of approx 5 inches.
This pretty tiara crown can be made in raw copper as well.
Please Note….. that some combs, hair pins and some crowns are rough soldered By design and have been worked over by a cutting wheel then sanded. The solder is silver solder and lead free. The work done that way creates a texture to the metal, marks Do show, the solder shows, and is Not by accident. It creates what I call my “caveman style” and are not bright shiny smooth but have a softer shine and softer feel to the metal. Because these are hand made there will be slight variations to each piece.
# Item care #
I do not coat crowns, hair items or other jewelry with lacquer or other chemicals. They are raw metals. They can be polished with a metal cleaner or dropped in some lemon juice for a bit, toothbrush and toothpaste also polish well, don’t forget to rinse or you can turn your goodies green. You may also leave the piece alone and allow the metals to achieve a patina.
